As you may know by now, I love to read. I love books of all kind and believe you can never have too many. I think each book you read and enjoy adds enrichment to your lovely mind. Because knowledge is power, and I don’t think we have enough power in our lives. With that, I have put together this handy list of all the books you need to add to your library today!
Reading can take us out of a bad day and transport us to a far away land. For me, when I read, the book comes alive. The characters come alive, and I feel like I know them. I feel the happy or sad radiating out of each book I read.
If your children see you reading, they are more likely to want to read themselves. The more you read the more you know. (thank you, Dr. Seuss). I have so many favorite books. Not one, in particular, stands out above the rest because I chose and read them for different reasons. But I do want to share them with you. I want you to feel the magic that I feel when I find my book. I want your world to come alive as mine does when I find the right book. So I am going to share with you the list of books that are in my favorites tab on my kindle.
(side note, do you own a Kindle? If not I would suggest you seriously look into them. I don’t know what I would do without mine!)

These are in no particular order, just randomly placed because it would be way too difficult to pick my favorite. I would say that you shouldn’t have a favorite because when you go define one as the number one pick, nothing compares. (like football right?)
Out of practice Aphrodite- S.E. Babin
This is a Greek fiction with hints of romance. I love Greek mythology and the author did a great job of bringing all my favorite elements together.
Somebody Tell Aunt Tillie She’s Dead- Christina Miller
If you like books about ghosts and magic, this is a great easy read.
Wraithsong- E.J. Squires (you must read this one)
This book falls into YA Paranormal selection. While I don’t care who it was written for, it was AMAZINGLY written. It has Norse mythology and romantic tones.
Ode To The Queen- Kyleigh Castronaro (this one too)
Another Greek mythology selection. This one has incredible visual ques’s that bring color to the book. It is about Greek Gods being reincarnated into normal people and one girl’s discovery of self.
The Girl In The Box- Robert J Crane
This story about a girl who is kept in a box as a form of punishment. She suddenly discovers she is strong. She must learn to protect herself from this new world she finds herself in. This story is action packed, with some great fight scenes.
Dream Thief- Tamara Grantham
A wonderful book of magic. This story is a therapist who treats patients who suffer from a magical problem through the power of their dreams. This one painted lovely colors in my mind as I read.
The God Chronicles Zeus- Kamery Solomon
If you haven’t noticed by now, I adore Greek mythology revamped into a romance. This one is about Zeus.
Eternal Eden– Nicole Williams(this is a great version of twilight.)
This was the first book I ever downloaded onto my kindle. It reminds me so much of Twilight I almost did not include it in this list. But, alas, here it is.
The Apples Of Idunn- Matt Larkin
Just as much as I love all stories Greek, I love to learn about Norse mythology. This one did not disappoint and was a wonderful read I have re-reading many times. If you are looking for something directed at Vikings, this is a sure win.
Her Mad Hatter- Marie Hall
This is the adult spin on a timeless classic. Grown ups who loved Alice in wonderland but crave a little more conflict and romance are sure to delight!
$56.64 Amazon Kindle Store (because I am a nerd who loves magic)
$23 Amazon Kindle Store Who doesn’t love a powerful heroine?
Is about a college aged girl who meets a descendant of Greek Gods and suddenly she is thrown into a magical world.
$8.89 From one mom to many, this is a book most us will relate to. The author tells about the delights and mishaps of motherhood and all that comes with it, while she adds humor to entertain even the most stressful mom!
The great thing about this list of books for you is that out of all of them, there are only 3 books that you have to pay for!! How’s that for awesome sauce?
This list is a great place to start building your library. Tell me, right here, what’s your favorite book?
Until next time…
